Back on Track

I went to exercise on Saturday and really pushed it in the circuit style class. I am still feeling the sore muscles and I love it!

Finished off the last of the turkey and dressing last night. Brought some Progresso Light soups for the week at work. It’s just a fresh start for the week after Thanksgiving… need to reset before all the baking and parties begin!

Had a good day at the lake with the in-laws doing a post-Thanksgiving cookout Saturday. Shopped yesterday with the hubby and today is payday. So far so good!

Missed the sign-up deadline to Dashing Through The Lights in Conway that I’ve been training for. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I just forgot about getting it in the mail on a hectic workday. I can show up tomorrow night for the race but it costs more for a late entry. Still on the fence about whether or not to go. I want to see how well I could do and see if the gratification for crossing the finish line after 3 miles is worth continuing to train for other races. The money may be better spent on Christmas since there will be many more coming next year that I can participate in. We’ll see…
